ABOUT ME
I am screenwriter and founding member of Braine Hownd Films. We are an award winning film company whose films have been shown at Cannes, Raindance, Florida, Boston, Iraq and festivals all over the UK. We have won awards such as the NFB Canada award for I Am Lonely at Cannes and Best Actress for Jenny Harrold in Stalker at the Van D'Ors 2011. My feature script Heckle was produced in 2012 and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2013. My second feature Coldfall is in pre-production. I am developing two more feature scripts with directors James Rumsey and Rob Kaplan and I have two short films 'Somebody To Love' and 'Wasteland' beginning their festival runs.
I have an extensive background in theatre and audio drama. I was part of the theatre company Joinedupwriters from 2004-2008 and I founded the award winning podcast company Tin Can podcast in 2009 with my brother Jonathan and writers Mike Shephard and Mark Lindow. We won the Fringe Report award for Best Audio in 2011 and have at last count over 200,000 downloads.
My plays have been performed at theatres such as The Old Red Lion, The Kings Head, Soho theatre, The Arcola, The Riverside Studios, The Lost theatre festival and The Camden Fringe festival.
